This software is English and designed to fill the needs of someone wanting to look up and write Kanji but doesn't have a Japanese Operating System (OS) and the WP/dictionary tools that come with such a system but it will run on Japanese Windows. So if you get used to using it and want to take it onto your new Japanese machine .. no problem.
